After a successful career in the tech industry, I retired to pursue my passion for great art. Taking what I learned from over three decades of working with some of the most innovative companies in the world, I founded Ferleman & Company as a mechanism to make great art accessible.
At Ferleman & Company we specialize in art that has a bias for action. A captured moment in time that will never happen again. One of the key advantages of painting with a bias for action is that it allows the artist to be more agile in their decision-making. They are not bogged down by excessive analysis and can quickly adapt to changes in sightlines, perspectives, and even their own feelings. This is particularly important in environments that are constantly evolving when the light falls, objects move out of view, or a disruption breaks the artist's train of thought.
Art that has a bias for action is responsive. It shows artists who are quick to act and can pivot to meet changing conditions. The paintings tend to be stronger and more passionate, which is critical for creating new and more innovative expressions of moments that will never happen again.
I’m proud of what we're building and how we're making great art accessible. Our focus is on building long-term collector value and empowering artists with mechanisms for sustainable expression. We obsess over customers and dive deep into the complementary relationship between artist and collector. At every meeting and in every decision we make, our customers are at the head of the table. We rigorously advocate for the artist and collector, and work hard to earn and keep their trust.
