At Ferleman Gallery, we are committed to delivering exceptional guest experiences that bring together art, hospitality, and thoughtful service. RootSTable is a new restaurant located inside the gallery, and we are building a beverage program defined by craftsmanship, precision, and a deeply intentional sense of place.

This role is best suited for a bartender who thrives in a composed, standards-driven environment where precision and restraint matter.

As a Part-Time Bartender, you will play an important role in shaping this experience from the ground up, helping create a bar environment held to the highest standards of presentation, hospitality, and guest care.

This role is ideal for someone who values execution, takes pride in the details, and enjoys contributing to something new, refined, and enduring.

• Engage with Guests: Create a welcoming, polished experience through attentive beverage service, clear communication, and thoughtful recommendations.
• Cocktail Execution & Service Support: Prepare drinks with consistency and care, maintain a clean and efficient workspace, and anticipate service needs throughout each shift.
• Maintain Bar Operations: Ensure the bar is organized, properly stocked, and operating smoothly, while upholding all health, safety, and sanitation standards.
• Contribute to Beverage Excellence: Stay informed on cocktail technique, seasonal ingredients, and evolving trends, and offer ideas that strengthen and refine the menu over time.
• Support Events and Programming: Provide seamless bar service during gallery openings, concerts, and special programs, contributing to a calm and professional guest experience in a dynamic environment.

• Professional Hospitality and Presence: Friendly, composed, and comfortable engaging with guests in a high-standard setting.
• Craft and Standards Orientation: Committed to drink consistency, presentation, cleanliness, and the disciplined execution of a serious beverage program.
• Proactive and Reliable: Takes initiative, anticipates needs, and contributes to a smooth, team-oriented service flow.
• Curious and Coachable: Open to learning, improving technique, and refining the guest experience through repetition and care.
• Flexible Availability: Available Thursday–Saturday evenings and during special events or high-traffic periods.

• Prior experience in a professional work environment
• Previous bartending or cocktail experience is preferred, though transferable hospitality experience is valued
• Must be at least 21 years of age or older
• Ability to work evening shifts and event-based service as needed
