The County Council has over spent the budget, raised taxes, and managed us back into the recession. Since August 2013, the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics (BLS) has reported a rapid decline in employment and wages in Montgomery County. While the County Council voted to dramatically raise taxes and fees, Germantown lost over 1,200 jobs. Since 2012, 3% of all women in Montgomery Village have lost jobs. Property tax increases, an anti-business climate, excessive regulations, and gridlock are harming families in our community.
We must reverse course and #BringJobsHome to Montgomery County, roll-back the year-after-year tax increases, reduce traffic congestion, and build a sustainable education pipeline.
